BMW R 1200 RT - Modellreihe K52 (2014 - 2018)

Es war vorhersehbar, dass die neue R 1200 RT mit dem neuen teil-wassergekühlten Boxermotor noch besser funktionieren wird. 125 PS und125 Newtonmeter Drehmoment haben zwar mit den 274 Kilo fahrfertig einiges zu schleppen, die unglaubliche Spritzigkeit von unten bleibt aber auch bei der RT erhalten. Das macht sie vor allem am Kurvenausgang nach einer Spitzkehre äußerst agil. In Kombination mit dem (natürlich aufpreispflichtigen) Schaltassistenten Pro flutschen die Gänge nur so und man bewegt sich unwillkürlich sportlicher, als man es vielleicht vorhatte. Die großen Bonuspunkte der R 1200 RT sind ihre gute Verarbeitung, das einfache und leicht durchschaubare Bedienungsprinzip und nicht zuletzt ihr kleiner Wendekreis.
